It's July 1st and guess what that is!!! Canada Day!!!! So all other posts are shutdown for the day in respect for my beloved country. So for all you people out there who have never been here, or think we are nothing but a frozen wasteland, here are some shots of Beautiful Canada.

So here is a bunch of pictures for you. Starting out in Vancouver on the west coast, and moving over the Rockies, onto the Prairies, and out east all the way to the Atlantic. And we can't forget way up north!!!

I just wish I could share the full beauty of this great country with you all. There is just soooooo much to see here. You would have to take a couple of months to see everywhere.

Now in the second part of our series for this morning. The email said that this was from Saskatchewan. It could very well be, but I didn't see any sheep in the picture!! LOL Sorry for the insult Saskatchewanians!! Most of my family is out there now so I just make cracks at them as much as I can. I especially thought you would like this one Merlin33!! You know who you are!!

I cracked myself up looking at them. If you thin about it, that would be one hell of a good way to get around way up the the Northern Provinces, or the Territories. Now they just need to turn a Suburban into one and you could corner the market on the "Northern Large Family" segment of our population!! Hmmmm now it's got me pondering on how to do it.

More fuel to add to the "Canada is nothing but Frozen Wilderness " mentality.

Seeing these pics sure made me think about why so many people think Canada is nothing but a frozen wilderness and we all live in igloos. Not to mention we all have Polar Bears as pets. I for one, have never seen a Polar Bear in real life. I have however seen plenty of Moose. Hell I even had to drag half of one off a desolate highway in northern Alberta after it lost a fight with an 18 Wheeler. All I can say is half a moose is pretty darn heavy!!

Now how could you go wrong with a car wash like that. As long as you don't make it mad, it will clean all the salt off of your truck. It's one of those win/win situations. You get a clean car, Moose gets a treat!!

Just listen to the applause for this scrap. Gotta love the respect they give each other at the end of it.

I get the occasional email from my friends back up north. Here is the shout out to all the good folks in G.P.!!

I got this in my email this morning and it reminded me of when I moved my brother out of G.P. It was a balmy -10c, so we had to take our shirts off cause we were sweating our butts off. You know you live way too far North when -10c feels warm to you.
