What’s Wrong? Is It Your Website Or Your Computer

After you have made some chances on your website you begin to see things that don’t make since. Your website seems to be playing tricks on you. For some reason certain banners stop showing up on your computer but still works when you check your site on someone elses pc. Is it a problem with your computer or your website?
The problem could be quite easy to resolve. It could be as simple as your banner site that you used has updated there banner codes and it may not be compatible with your computer configurations. Or you made an adjustment to the code by changing where the banner links to. If you copy and paste the code on your website you must not change anything on the code. For letting them use their server to house your banner the banner, for some sites, must link back to their site only. If not, your banner could get deleted from their files.
One of the best ways to avoid this problem is to download the banner and install it on your web hosting server. By doing this it will not matter what the banner website does. It will be yours and you can have it link to where ever you want it. If you are using a free site like blogger.com, for example, then you will have to create a new banner then use the codes and make no chances at all.
You might be able to check for any updates to your computer to see if that will resolve the problem. There might be a new version of a browser that you need to get. If there is and it is not in beta then update it and see if that resolves the issue. Plus, you can go to Java.com to see if their is a new version of java software you can download to see if this helps.
When is the last time you deleted your temporary files? It may be overloaded causing it to block the image. Just go into tools and select “delete browsing history” and when you are done close all browsers then open a new one to see if that helps.
If that doesn’t work then get a thorough scan of your computer to see if you have any spyware or adware that might be blocking it. If you have a paid service you downloaded and it doesn’t find anything then have your pc scanned by a trusted online service to see if it can find anything.
Maybe your computer is not what is wrong? It could be that when you made changes to your website you added a code of javascript that does not work together with your banner. I have experienced a situation where I used different display ads services that would block out each other. Once I removed one of the codes then the other worked just find. Not all javascript codes, or any codes for that matter, can be used on the same page. Just take a look at the last code you copied and pasted in or what you downloaded to server and remove it and see if the banner then returns.
These are the most common solutions for this type of issue. If all those do not solve the problem then simply try a different banner service. You should have no problem finding one.
